I am a small hobby breeder living in Guildford, Surrey with my husband and two daughters. All of our cats live at home and are our beloved pets. We also have various other pets such as tortoises, rabbits and pond fish. Not forgetting my daughter's new African Pigmy Hedgehog, who is the sweetest thing!
My love of Sphynx arose when I saw my first Sphynx on television a few years ago. I knew then that I had to have one.
Our first Sphynx Suki, was adopted as a show pet. As soon as we got her I was smitten with the breed and knew that I wanted to breed them. I was also smitten with the show bug and have been showing ever since. In fact a family day out for us is often a day at a show. It is lovely to see the many lovely people and cats there that we would not see otherwise.
Our second Sphynx Yoda, was a lovely show boy who did so very well on the show bench. He became a Supreme champion quite quickly and is a regional winner for the second year running!
We now have a second home bred stud and two home bred girls to add to our ever expanding family of felines.
My sincere and heartfelt thanks go to Jack and Phyllis Cockrell as well as Pauline Singfield for my lovely breeding girls and Sharon Whittle for our lovely boy.
Sphynx are adictive, there is something about them that sets them apart from other breeds. They are intelligent, trusting and funny. Most of ours retrieve, some wag their tails when they are happy and are more like dogs than cats.
